Yes, it is broccoli!

Broccoli is a well-known super-food, which means it’s packed full of nutrients namely anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals and contains several health benefits like reducing the risk of cancer, boosts the immune system, strengthens bones, aids digestion, improves skin health, and a lot more. Moreover, it also reduces the risk of certain diseases like diabetes and cardiovascular disorders. Let us look at how we can prepare broccoli in a way that pleases our taste buds and gives us robust health.

Prepare healthy Broccoli Soup at home !


  • 1+1/2 Cups Broccoli Florets

  • 1/2 Cup Milk

  • 1 Tbsp Butter Salted

  • 1 Cup Potato

  • 1/2 Cup Onion

  • 7 Pc Almond

  • 1/2 Tbsp Salt (or based on taste)

  • 1 Tbsp Black Pepper Powder


  • Add 1 Tbsp of butter(salted) into the pressure cooker and let it melt.
  • Add 1/2 cup of chopped onions into it and stir it for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add 1 cup of diced potatoes and again stir it.
  • Add 1+1/2 cup of broccoli florets and 1+1/2 cup of water.
  • Then close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook it on high heat for 2 whistles.
  • After 2 whistles in the cooker take the mixture – add 7 Almonds peeled and 1/2 cup of milk to the mixture.
  • Blend the mixture till it becomes a smooth puree. After, take the puree into a heating pan (Medium to high flame) and add 1/2 tbsp of salt (or based on taste).
  • If you like the puree more watery, add 1/2 a cup of water into it and keep stirring.
  • Add 1 Tbsp of pepper powder and let it boil for a good 5 minutes.
  • The broccoli soup is ready for serving.

  • Use salt based on your taste and diet requirement, although we have used some measurements.
  • A tablespoon of cream can be added for extra flavor.
