Ingredients

  • Marinating the Chicken
  • 400 gm Boneless chicken

  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 1 tbsp Cornflour

  • 1 tbsp All-purpose flour

  • Preparing the Corn Flour
  • 1/4 cup Water

  • 1 tsp Cornflour

  • Preparing the Chicken
  • 2 tbsp Cooking Oil

  • 1/4 cup Grated Garlic

  • 3 pc Green Chili

  • 2 tbsp Parsley

  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder

  • 1 tsp Vinegar

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 1/2 tsp Oregano

  • 1/2 tsp Chilli flakes

  • 1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice

Directions

  • Marinating the Chicken
  • In a large bowl take boneless chicken 400 gm, black pepper powder 1/2 tsp, salt 1/2 tsp, all-purpose flour 1 tbsp, cornflour 1 tbsp – mix the chicken well into the coating and keep aside.
  • Preparing the Corn Flour
  • In a bowl, take water 1/4 cup, cornflour 1 tsp – stir the cornflour mixture and keep aside.
  • Preparing the Chicken
  • In a heating fry pan, add cooking oil 2 tbsp and start adding the marinated chicken into the heating oil.
  • Fry each side of the chicken for 6 – 7 minutes on medium to high heat.
  • When the chicken is well fried – take it out into a paper towel and keep it aside.
  • Into the same heating fry pan add butter 2 tbsp, grated garlic 1/4 cup, chopped green chili 3 pc, and stir fry for 6 – 7 minutes on medium to high heat.
  • Add red chili flakes 1/2 tsp – stir well – add earlier prepared cornflour mixture – stir well until it gets thickened.
  • Add the fried chicken, salt 1/2 tsp, dried oregano 1/2 tsp, black pepper powder 1/2 tsp, lemon juice 1/2 tbsp, vinegar 1 tsp, chopped parsley 2 tbsp and stir well for 1 – 2 minutes.
  • Take out & serve the butter garlic chicken hot with chapati or naan.

  • Ghee can also be used instead of butter.
  • Chicken boneless – chicken with bones can be used.
  • Use salt according to taste and diet requirements.
