Ingredients

  • Marination
  • 400 gm Chicken breast

  • 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste

  • 1 tsp Salt (or according to diet)

  • 1 tsp Black pepper powder

  • 1 tbsp White vinegar

  • 1 pc Egg

  • 3 tbsp Corn starch

  • 2 tbsp All-purpose flour

  • 2 tbsp Cooking oil

  • Vegetables
  • 1 cup Capsicum

  • 3 pc Green chili

  • 1 cup Onion

  • 6 cloves Garlic

  • 1 inch Ginger

  • 4 tbsp Cooking oil

  • 1/2 tsp Salt (or according to diet)

  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder

  • Sauce Preparation
  • 1 cup Water

  • 1 tsp Vinegar

  • 2 tbsp Soya sauce

  • 2 tsp Chilli sauce

  • 1 tbsp Tomato ketchup

  • 1 tbsp Corn starch

Directions

  • Marination
  • In a bowl take chicken breast 400 gm, add ginger garlic paste 2 tsp, salt 1 tsp (or to taste), black pepper powder 1 tsp, vinegar 1 tbsp, egg 1 pc, cooking oil 2 tbsp, corn starch 3 tbsp, all-purpose flour 2 tbsp and mix well.
  • Keep the marinated chicken aside for 30 minutes.
  • Sauce Preparation
  • In a separate bowl add water 1 cup, soya sauce 2 tbsp, vinegar 1 tsp, chili sauce 2 tsp, corn starch 1 tbsp, tomato ketchup 1 tbsp – stir everything well and keep aside for later use.
  • Chicken Manchurian Preparation
  • In a heating pot, take enough oil to deep fry the marinated chicken pieces.
  • When oil heats, start adding the chicken pieces into it for deep fry.
  • Fry till chicken turns golden brown – take out into a paper towel and keep aside.
  • In a frying pan add cooking oil 4 tbsp, add diced garlic 6 cloves, chopped ginger 1 inch  – stir & cook for about 2-3 minutes on high flame.
  • After, add chopped green chilies 3 pc, onion cubes 1 cup, capsicum cubes 1 cup – fry them for 2-3 minutes on high flame.
  • Add the already prepared SAUCE, salt 1/2 tsp (or to taste), black pepper powder 1/4 tsp, and cook the sauce till it turns thick enough around 3 minutes.
  • After, add fried chicken into the sauce – stir & cook for few seconds.
  • The Tasty Chicken Manchurian is ready!

Notes

  • Use salt according to your taste and diet requirements.
  • Cut Chicken breast/boneless pieces – medium-sized (approx. 2 inch)
  • You can use corn starch as well instead of cornflour.
  • Always fry the vegetables on high heat.
