  • 1/4+1/3 cup Sugar Brown

  • 1/2 tsp Cooking Oil

  • 2 pc Eggs

  • 1 cup Milk 2%

  • In a heating, pan adds brown sugar 1/4 cup and heat till the sugar melts properly.
  • When the sugar is caramelized use it to make caramel decorations for your pudding. To make caramel spirals use a wooden stick (for better results).
  • In a bowl, add eggs 2 and beat them just enough so it becomes even and well mixed but not so much that the froth appears, now add brown sugar 1/3 cup into it and mix well.
  • Pour milk 1 cup gently-slowly while continuously stirring the sugar-egg mixture.
  • Strain the pudding mixture to remove the thicker/unbeaten slimy part of egg white from the mixture.
  • Take 2 cooking bowls/bowl, grease the inners with cooking oil 1/2 tsp.
  • Transfer the initially prepared caramelized sugar(that was also used to make decorations) into both bowls equally. Evenly add the pudding mixture into the bowls with caramelized sugar.
  • Into a heating pot, add water till 3/4th height of these bowls with pudding mixture – place the pudding bowls into it.
  • Close these pudding bowls with a lid/aluminum foil to avoid steaming water drops from falling into the pudding.
  • Now, cover the whole pot with a lid and steam the pudding for about 25 minutes on medium flame.
  • Once done, remove the pudding bowls from the heating pot and let it cool down (after few minutes outside you could refrigerate it) for an hour or so. Note: handle the bowls with a mitten while taking from the heating pot since it’s hot.
  • After cooling down, transfer the pudding upside down into a plate gently and carefully to avoid breaking and losing the shape 🙂
  • Your delicious pudding is ready to consume.
