2 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp Cooking oil
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 pc Onion
1/2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
1 pc Potato
2 pcs Carrot
3/4 cup Green peas
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Coriander powder
2 pcs Green chili
2 tbsp Coriander leaves
Directions
- Into a heating frying pan, add butter 2 tbsp, cooking oil 1 tbsp, cumin seeds 1 tsp and let the cumin seeds fry for few seconds.
- Add sliced onion 1 pc and give it a good stir. Add ginger-garlic paste 1/2 tbsp and let it fry until the onions become light brown and the raw smell of garlic goes away.
- Add diced potato 1 pc and let it fry for about 3 – 5 minutes on medium heat.
- Add diced carrots 2 pcs, green peas 3/4 cup, and stir it for about 1 – 2 minutes on medium heat.
- Now cover and cook for about 5 – 6 minutes on medium to low heat.
- After this add salt 1 tsp, turmeric powder 1/4 tsp, coriander powder 1/2 tsp, chopped green chili 2 pcs, and stir properly.
- Again cover and cook for about 6 – 7 minutes on medium to low heat.
- Finally, add freshly chopped coriander leaves 2 tbsp and mix.
- Serve it hot with chapati, naan, or any flatbread.
